Andrea and Lachlan's big day was a stylised vision of minimalism meet romance. All white bridesmaids dresses, a sleeved wedding dress and luxe whimsical florals? She's a trend setter, and we get to say 'WE WERE THERE!'
When we asked Andrea what her favourite details from the big day were, she told us;
"Besides the florals of course - One of our favourite things was the house we had - Lake Hawea View, O M G. That place is beautiful and to have both mine and my husbands family all staying together in the house for the week was special, and is something we will always remember and reminisce about for the rest of our lives."
"Our rings were both from Natalie Marie - a jeweller from Avalon (a suburb on the Northern Beaches where my husband and I live). There was no where else we really would have wanted to get our rings from. We love the simplistic and timeless designs of the rings."
"My dress was from Prea James - a designer from Paddington in Sydney. Again - I just loved the simplistic, elegant nature of her dresses and I could have picked 10 different dresses that I would have loved!"
Of course we couldn't stop thinking about the iconic choice for all the bridesmaids to wear white. When we asked Andrea why she went for this styling, she told us;
"We chose white simply because I just loved the aesthetic of white dresses. With the incredible backdrop that is Lake Wanaka, I just wanted to keep it simple and elegant."
"We felt like we got so lucky with our vendors - obviously our florals was incredible and we could not have been happier with both the communication in the lead up to the day but then on the day seeing my vision brought to life was so nice (and such a relief!!) We were fortunate enough to get the florals pressed, and we could not be happier with how they have also turned out, and that we now have them framed to remember our special day forever."

Our on-the-day coordinator, Sophie from Major and Minor , was outstanding. Worth every cent and would recommend her to anyone! We also sourced local wine from Maude - we received so many compliments on it and are so glad we were in such an incredible wine region to enjoy."
